  23. At the work I have ATI All-In-Wonder Pro card. This card doesn't support
  24. video grabbing under WinNT (ATI Technologies suxx!!!), and video editing
  25. under shitty game called Win9x is absolutely impossible :-). So I need to
  26. transfer grabbed video to WinNT machine. From formats, which is ATI able
  27. to grab to, is ATI VCR2 maybe the best. But it is impossible to install
  28. this codec without ATI card, and what more - ATI Technologies doesn't
  29. distribute it with WinNT drivers.

  31. After one night of trying to install ATI VCR2 codec under WinNT, I wrote
  32. Oemsetup.inf for this codec. Some people asked me for it - so now I gave
  33. it to public. First version of this package worked only under WinNT, but
  34. a few months later, I found it on czech server TVFreak with Win9x support
  35. included. In July 2000, Ondrej Zary sent me .inf file which supports installing
  36. and also uninstalling of the codec, and it seems to work under Win9x, WinNT
  37. and also Win2k - so it's time to update the package...

  39. I know that distribution of codec may be ilegal. My opinion is: I bought
  40. ATI card and ATI f**k on codec in WinNT drivers - so I did codec distribution
  41. package for WinNT and I f**k ATI :-)

  49. In Windows Explorer righ-click on ATIVCR.INF file from this package, and select
  50. Install.

  58. In Control panel open Add/Remove programs and select ATI Codec.

  66. Adobe Premiere won't work with this codec, but as I know this problem is
  67. also under Win9x - so this can be bug in codec, not in its installation.
